My husband and I have been here for about 10 months now and we have not been displeased. We just renewed our lease today. When we've had problems around the place, maintenence has come promptly (within 24 hours in most cases) and is always friendly. The AC did go out a few weeks ago in many units, and maintanence was working on it through the night, and it was during a heat wave, but being uncomfortably warm for 3 days is not the end of the world. After they came and looked at it the temperature has risen to similar levels and it hasn't gone out again.

Some people here have complained of the streaker, who I've NEVER seen and haven't heard about since November, so I'm assuming he's stopped. There have been reports of cars being broken into, but that can happen at ANY apartment. When you have this many cars so densely packed into a small area, the rate of theft might seem higher, but I don't think it is any worse than in a suburban neighborhood, it's just less spread out. Keep your car locked and don't leave valuables in plain sight, it's that simple.

I don't know what people are talking about when it comes to thin walls, we have had absolutely no issues with noise from our neighbors.

My biggest qualm is that it is not easy for guests to visit, especially in the building with the garage attached, because there is no guest parking the in the garage, and it is a long walk from the ground level parking to our building. I think that we should be given a guest parking pass that is good for 24 hours in the garage.

The complex is beautiful, the grounds are well kept, and the amenities are very nice. When I've had people over, they are ALWAYS impressed by where we live. The staff has always been happy to help with any issues I have. It is pretty pricey, but that is YOUR choice whether you want to pay for the quality and location (less than 20 minute commute for both of us, and all the shopping so close by). For us, it's worth it.
