Well I must say I am new to this area. This community is an ideal location. Close to my job, mall, light rail stop. First let me say I did a walk in to the leasing office about 3 weeks ago. After being ignored by virtually every white employee for about 20minutes somewhere out of the blue an ------- American employee shows up and finally helps me. I did not have an id on me so I could not view an apt. So yesterday I scheduled an appt for today(thinking I was doing the smart thing) YEAH RIGHT!!! I walk into the office at 1pm the time of my appointment a white male walks out of the leasing office no greeting or nothing. I wont trip off that because he could have been a tenant. Well once again 3 white females working in the leasing office see me and continue on about their daily business no one walks out and ask me if I needed any assistance. You would think if they had a 1pm appointment scheduled they would be expecting a potential renter, besides the leasing office has windows facing the entrance so they know when a person is coming towards the office. I thought I would share this experience for those of you who are potentially thinking about leasing from here especially Minorities this is 2008 and we dont have to put up with this!!!!!!!!!!

give me a break, they are not ignoring you because you are black...no matter how much you want to believe it. I live here, am white, and they ignore me and everyone else that comes in that office. They just have horrible customer service.

Actually -- there are many different ethnicity/races represented here... However there was a violent attack this morning on one of the residents so the employees have been rather tied up running around notices to all of us... I should also note that the gate in the back has been broken for two weeks. Consider this an invitation to steal our vehicles... To top it off they recently "didn't have" a package of mine only to have it turn up once I had proof of delivery. On the other hand, they are always polite even though I generally have to wander to their offices to get any attention. ...maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Check out Fieldstone Farm. Have heard good things about it...

I am a minority, not bl-, and they igonore me, too. They are just rude. Some people greet stranges, some don't. It's not all racism. On one occasion, I was told to just take one cookie a day. Apart from the fact that I (actually) pay for those cookies, I thought it to be very unprofessional to even make a big deal out of my taking two cookies. Also, when I called the 1-800 number to schedule an appointment and to reserve an apartment, I was denied both upon my arrival. My guess is, the office and the 1-800 number service don't communicate very well with one another.

Keith Gillan is the Regional Manager (at least of Bozzuto's Annapolis complexes). His contact info is: Regional Portfolio Manager | Bozzuto Management Company 7850 Walker Drive | Suite 400 | Greenbelt, MD 20770 301.623.3611 Phone / Fax | www.bozzuto.com kgillan@bozzuto.com Mr. Bozzuto's email is tbozzuto@bozzuto.com. He may have a multiple email variations to ensure he gets even minor attempts at contacting him though. Within five minutes of me emailing Mr. Bozzuto (it goes to his blackberry), Mr. Gillan responded to my previously unanswered in writing request. Please don't let your Abors' experience prevent you from renting at other Bozzuto communities. I have stayed at another community, but moved due to my job. I recommend The Gramercy at Town Center (Columbia), Stone Point (Annapolis), and I thought they used to have apartments in Ellicott City.

Yeah, what everyone else say's. I had scheduled an appointment and when I showed up I felt oddly unwanted by the sales associate. It was like I was wasting her time. I figured that if you really want to lease a property the salesperson would attempt to show me whatever the property has to offer and help me to figure out what I wanted. Did this person do that? Nope. I was lucky to see the model. And honestly, I felt discriminated against. I'm white. It's not a good feeling. I tend to get confrontational when I don't feel I am not being treated right, but I guess I just let this one slide. What exactly did she do or not do? Well, for one it was her attitude - like I was being pre-judged or that i wasn't good enough to be here. Second it seemed like she was always on the offensive in a patronizing way. Thirdly, she was unwilling to show me anything. had I not looked at the web-site and some of the amenities available I would not have seen many things like the computer room, gym room, etc. However, the lady I made the appointment with (I spoke with her shortly after the experience) was very professional and soothed the situation to something more of what I expected. I am not sure if I am going to continue my pursuit here (due to the plethora of negative threads) but I will continue to investigate. As author put it, the place is nice and the area has a lot to offer... but I can certainly do without the crime. That ---- just pisses me off...

I think the salespeople in the office are just young and stupid. Did they graduate from college? One wears alot of make-up and a frozen smile and she has no personality at all. They cannot do math and I just attribute it to they are just dumb. Buzzuto needs to hire a better grade of personnel to work in their sales and customer service positions.
