I was an actual resident there for only a few months, and I can DEFINITELY vouch for the fact that the customer service there is just atrocious. To say that Robert Thatcher is rude, is truly an understatement. That man is flat out racist and he will not hesistate to show it. I was young and inexperienced when I moved there, into my first apt, but after not 1, but 2 burglaries, within one week, I was surely ready to move. I felt unsafe, and on top of that, I was told that my door wouldn't be repaired unless I footed the bill. He even had the audacity to tell me flat out that it was probably one of my family members who did it. I wouldn't recommend this complex to an animal, let alone a person.

He did the same thing to me. We got broken into and he refuse to fix our door unless we paid for it. We called the housing authority, he now threatens to evict us on a monthly basis.

Truthfully, I'm convinced that the burglaries are a direct result of some of the staff. It only makes since that after maintenance comes in to make unneccesary and/or unrequested repairs or visits, that a mysterious burglary occurs afterwards. Substance abuse is definitely a problem with some members of the staff, and the two--drug use & theft--often time go hand in hand. At any rate, if you aren't already a tenant, take heed and look elsewhere. If you are already a tenant, be resourceful, and look elsewhere and/or learn more about your rights as a tenant and ACCURATELY DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! He can threaten you as a tenant, but if you're on your issue and have receipts, timelines, or even pictures, he is limited with his abuse. Beware though, Robert is crafty, and in the event that legal action is taken, he'll try to have the hearing beyond the normal jurisdiction. I'm almost sure that has something to do with the notebooks of complaints that he has accumulated in this area.
