Has Plantation Apts been rename to Avondale Outlook Apts' Can I get an HONEST and UNBIASED opinion from current residents (Preferably tenants living at the complex within the last year or two; or the past 5 to 8 months); especially from a female prospective on the property. The last real opinion posted was September of last year. Thank you!

(1) LOCATION: Is the apartment safe...how is the surrounding area'
(2)LOITERING: Is loitering a major issue or concern'
(3) PEST CONTROL: Is there a problem with infestation of insects or rodents'
(4) NOISE LEVEL: Are the walls super thin and pose a major problem'(can you hear you neighbors every move
(5) OFFICE STAFF: Is the office staff professional and provide you with good customer service'
(6) MAINTENANCE: Is there a big problem with maintenance issues...Is the maintenance crew prompt (is it a big hassle to get things fix)'
(7) TENANTS: Does certain tenants degrade or bring down the community or do they keep to themselves'

Once again...Can I get an HONEST and UNBIASED opinion...Thanks to all that reply!!!

Its not a bad place. Honestly the renovations that are happening are going pretty well and the place seems to be improving a lot. I am a female and stayed there for a year and didn't have any safety issues. There isn't really a problem with people hanging out in the parking lot and there are security cameras out there. As with any place, just be aware of your surroundings when you are alone. Maintenance does take a while to get to you if you are not persistant! And there is a roach problem, but they have exterminators who will come to your apartment once a week if you ask for it. I'm not sure how bad the roach problem is in the renovated apartments though. The tenants seem fine. I never had a problem with any of them. The walls seemed to be of good "thickness" for lack of better word. I couldnt hear the neighbors' every move and felt pretty comfortable talking loud in my own apartment. The windows are double pane windows so they do not rattle every time the wind blows like they might do in some other apartments.

This F%CKING place sucks!!! I can not wait until I get out of this roach motel. When we first moved here it was fine for about a week or two. Then little by little the roach started to come out. Little ones, medium size ones, and then came the water bug looking ones. Lets not talk about the rodent problem...Oh my God!!! The elevator smells like rotten ass and piss with a hint of $hit at times. And another thing, those -------- in the office looks at people like we are from another planet. I live in one of the so called renovated apartment and hahahahahahaha, roaches....the damn thing is crappy! I must say that it's not worth it. The only reason why I continue to live here is that I have no other choice. But if you have a choice please choose NO...HELL NO....and NO again!!!!!

I agree about not recommending this place to anyone. I've lived there several years and it's still a roach motel. It's like you cannot get rid of them, no matter what. They keep changing property managers, or should I say assistant property managers. The last one was cool, but for some reason, he went ghost! It's mostly a place for the college crowd, with a few older residents. I think people stay because of the location and the price of other apartments in the area. Many have no other options. My rent increased $265 and it's not worth it. I'm going month-to-month now, which adds another $150 (making the increase $415 that I'm giving them). Maintenance is slow. The property manager is ok, but doesn't really like to let you talk. She interjects a lot or overtalks you and you have to tell her sometimes to be quiet. KSI Management picked the right one with her, cause she doesn't cut any slack with anyone -- she is their savior.
