Avondale Overlook is a joke. The maintenance is terrible. They never answer the phone and they do not react in emergency maintenace situations. They give you all these email addresses to contact them and none of them work. Right now as of this writing we have a toilet leaking and we cannot get maintenance to come and repair the problem. We have a flaking and leaking ceiling that has yet to be repaired. We've phoned and written several times trying to get the problem resolved. They have a problem with pests that they will eventually fault you for. Stray cats everywhere. The tenants entrance is where the garbage cans are and it's always messy and stinking with flies especially since it's hot. I don't know how anyone rents an apartment near that area. If you are considering Avondale Overlook, have a look at the garbage area on any days other than Monday and Friday. And pray that your car is not broken into.

i don't know about the maintenance but the rest is surely true. plus i received TWO court dates for rent i ALREADY PAID so i'm assuming someone stealing money also. luckily i had receipts.

The same here. So far all I've read is true. Maintenance is a joke! The remodel is a cover up job. The place is turning into a college dorm! Loud music, loud talk, smell of drugs;and Management takes no responsibility for anything. And losing your rent is true. Been to court once because it happened to me also!

Well they haven't lost my rent...yet...but they did have me down for being late a numerous amount of times that I wasn't!!! Although I did not have the receipts, I demanded for them to show me every piece of paperwork from the months I was "supposedly" late. I proved to them that I wasn't late & of course they had a huge attitude with getting the any paperwork I requested-but it's their job & if they were more organized it wouldn't have taken 2 mos.! Now I get my receipt everytime I pay my rent. This all stemmed from me request to transfer being denied because of the "late" rent. They are 100% responsible but I have taken no responsibility for this huge mistake! Of course I still have not transfered.... There is definitely some funny business going on in the office....Is the job really that hard??? It's just some skills in customer service!

OMG...the freaking cats are ridiculous and these aren't regular cats their like some gangsta cats..they don't play that.
