I must say that two or three months ago, I would strongly disagree with the comments of the other reviewers. The location is pretty great (walking distance to mall, grocery, metro, UMD, etc.) My only problems were with the load playing of music by many neighbors. (Note that "neighbors" is not just refering to tenants immediately to the side, etc of me. Many Weekends, some residents like to raise their windows and turn their music as load as possible so as to share with the groundskeepers as they mow the grass.)

The grounds are very well kept. Flowers are planted every season and the common areas are nicely kept. My only issue is with the trashy tenants who constantly throw thier litter on the ground. There are a lot of kids in the complex, and they are very noisy (not to mention, they are allowed to run free by their parents.) Sometimes they are playing loudly outside until after 11pm.

My one bedroom apartment was very nice...spacious, new carpet, nice bathroom, etc. I was quite content...then came the roaches. Orginally being from the deep south, I was used to roaches (and glad that they were not the really big black ones). However, it seems as though there is a never ending supply. They are all over the place, and it does not matter what time of day it is.

Overall, if you are in a fix in terms of money and roaches don't bother you, I would consider it. There is a lot coming to that particular area. (Prince George's mall is adding stores and there is a new grocery store and retail mall being built across the street.) For me, the roaches are too much. They have sprayed twice in the last four months and I have used bottles of roach spray, but I don't notice any reduction in the number of them.
