This community definitely has its problems....

I have lived at Belcrest since April 2003. The community would be nice if management took measures to ensure the upkeep up the property. This past November/December, my heat wasn't working after a new heater was installed. It took 5 visits to my apartment to finally get it to work correctly. Yes, there has been and continues to be a roach problem, but I do my best to keep my place neat and clean. They go away after I "exterminate" myself and when I do see the roaches again, I immediately purchase the Combat gel and apply again to get rid of them once again. Why don't I call the rental office to schedule an extermination''' The reason is simple, they take forever to respond. Last night takes the cake though, after hearing rumors of mice in apartments, I finally saw one for myself in my 3rd floor apartment last night. I'm very disgusted by this event and will be voicing my concerns to the rental office, management company and department of health (which is what I had to do before to have them pay attention to the roach problem in my building). The management company will continue to ignore us if we don't make our voices heard. So, please just don't stop at making complaints to the rental office - call the regional manager at Grady Management and the Department of Health and any other places you can think of. Oh and by the way, I'm moving the hell out of this hellish infestation!!!
