So Sad...but BELCREST is going DOWNHILL!

I have been living in Belcrest Apartments for a LOOOOOOOONG time (too long). In spite of things that were out of Belcrest Apartments control (i.e. crime, nature, etc.), Belcrest was a great place to live; however, I cannot say the same today. I can only give you ONE pro about this place...LOCALITY...that's it! Other than that I have all cons. The RENTAL OFFICE STAFF is pleasant at times; however, when it comes to meeting the needs of the tenant(s) they lack customer service skills (but they know how to collect that rent on time though). As for MAINTENANCE...where in H-E-double hockey sticks are they recruiting SOME of these guys from'!' When you call them to fix something...it takes them forever and a day, and when they do come...they act like the problem is foreign to them. PARKING has improved since they implemented the parking space rule; however, after 6pm you better leave your car in your space, or you will be parking on the street (fills up pretty quickly). The LAUNDRY ROOMS...oh my God, don't get me started. All that Laundry space and all we can get is TWO (2) washers and TWO (2) driers...that break down like a fraction every other day. Then they look uninviting. ROACHES and MICE have increased, and there are animals too like...snakes (seen a few in our apartment hallways over the summer), foxes and deer (greeted me at the door). If you like wild life living...then welcome to ANIMAL KINGDOM! The GRAFFITI in the hallways/laundry rooms has improved, but it took them a while to clean that up! The APPLIANCES are outdated and raggedy! My dishwasher broke down one time and it looked like I had a swimming pool in the kitchen. TRUST...you stand a better chance hitting the Mega Millions lottery jackpot than getting NEW appliances at Belcrest. The NEIGHBORS are okay, but it is sad when you have SOME neighbors who don't take pride in where they live. We have some who trash the hallways with unwanted mail, who throw the trash anykind of way outside; and we even had neighbors who had the nerve to set their trash in the hallways right next to our door with the intention of taking it out in the morning. Hello...that creates ROACHES!!! TRIFLING! The CARPET reaks of mildew from burst pipes or flooded hallways from storms. It is just going downhill. If I were a disgruntled tenant, my comments would be worst...but since I am not...I am justbnhonest!
