I have a slowly growing family and thought Belcrest would be perfect for our needs. However, the false pretenses used to help 'seal' the deal were outright lies. The laundry rooms are a joke, seems to be yet another MS-13 hangout. Sometimes the floors are innundated with water and you have to wade thru to get to machines (of which there are only 2) that often keep your money with no service. I've been a resident for one year and every month has been another issue. We were told we were moving into a family building close to the playground in a nice spot. One week later Making the Band moved in over top of me. The neighbors here have no couthe at all and revel in ignorance. Loud weightlifting and bad rap music at all hours of the night. After we were here four months the police shot a man not 30 feet from our window. They opened up a firing squad in the middle of a little courtyard endangering many. There was a month later when a domestic dispute spilled out into the street. My wife and other women rushing to protect some fool gettin beat with a baby in her hand the whole time. Now i too have an infamous bathroom leak as well. Hot, piss looking water drippin from the ceiling as the jerks upstairs Stomp on. Last week the police woke my family up at 3:45am made me go get my id and prove i wasnt the previous tenant for whom they had multiple warrants for. Not kewl. I feel like i cant provide properly for my folks keeping them here. I have to do better, if only to escape Belcrest Plaza
