Customer service is still non-existent. They did get rid of most of the angry, bitter office staffers, but they were replaced with slow, lazy, ignorant (but friendlier) people. When I moved in I was promised a new stove, fridge and dishwasher. 1 year later my oven and dishwasher still don't work, and the fridge still has actual cracks in it. We've lost count of the # of times our building has had the water shut off in the last 6 months, but I do know that the fire dept. has been here AT LEAST 4 times because of melting fuse boxes. I've also discovered that my countertops were spray painted just before I moved in - they looked nice for about 3 weeks, until I had 'cleaned' off the top layer of paint, revealing a disgusting, stained, particle-board mess. I had to put a blanket up over my bedroom window to sleep at night because I have one of their security lights aimed at my window. The walls are so thin I know every intimate detail of my neighbors' personal lives and I get woken up every time a car enters or leaves the parking lot. My lease is up in 1 month and, needless to say, I won't be renewing (especially with the $90/month rate hike)!
