I lived here from May 2003-until May 2004. Our apartment seemed like it was falling apart the first day we moved in. First off they told us that we couldn't move in that morning when we were supposed to because they hadn't even cleaned and put the carpet down yet. When they finally did let us move in the maintenance people left soda cans, dirty shirts, tools, wrappers and a whole bunch of junk through out the apartment. The blinds were broken, the dryer was on the other side of the kitchen, the fridge was loud!, it was an overall mess! The neighborhood seems to keep on going down hill. I got robbed at gunpoint in February and the past few weeks there have been gun shots right outside my window. Parking is terrible!! People have all these abandoned cars taking up space and visitors take up a lot of parking as well. If you come home late you have to park far from your building then walk in the dark. Then they had the nerve to say they were raising the rent! Not one thing that we called maintenance about was fixed. I had huge stains on my ceilings from water leaking from the roof, my roommates toiler overflowed and they never came and removed the moldy carpet. It was a disaster.
