I was a reseident at Cypress Ck for 4yrs. The 1st yr was O.K. I didn?t experience problems w/roaches but I did have Ant & Waterbug issues. They would enter the apartment through the cabinets, drains where ever! The heating/AC units arent the best. You?ll need a space heater to keep your home at a comfortable temp...I found out after buying one that they should have had the weather strip around my door.. but didn?t!



Imagine walking into Your kitchen @ night to get a drink or pulling back your shower curtain & finding these big countrylike things running about!



The 2nd yr I started to experience maintenance probs. I went an entire Summer month w/o a/c! I called & visisted the rental office numerous times & was told that they were short staff & they has hired outside contractors to assist, but this obviously wasn?t the answer! It took me to call out to their then headquarters in Bethesda Md to get results. There was also falling ceiling tile & leaks in my bathroom & kitchen that came from an above tenant, that took 3days to get a response then a clean up, new patcg work & paint job & to get my carpet cleaned(not replaced). I also had a diswasher that stayed broke.



"CRIME" Is a definite problem, if you don?t carry a gun..I would suggest you find another apartment, Women nor Men are safe in this community! At night it?s worse! A man carjacked a woman at gunpoint, "In front of the rental office" drove her to an undisclosed location & raped her! So just because you may get a apartment in the 1st parking lot near or around the rental office..DOESN?T MAKE IT SAFE!! They post announcements but it doesn?t prevent the crime, & PLEASE don?t let the Fake cops posted on the lot(sometimes) give you a false sense of security..PLEASE"!



The maintenance men can be rude. The office staff unattentive to your needs. A total lack of concern! Parking was an issue cause if you arent home by 3pm you can?t find a space in front of your building or on your lot..assigned parking is needed!



And don?t come home early & expect to take a nap w/your windows open/closed...the kids play outside under your windows, & in the halls! There is no playground for them, so they will make one! They sit on your cars, using them as base for their games. I even had my wipers broken off my a child & because I didn?t know who did it the office wouldn?t help!



I moved in 1998 I was paying $585 elec by the time I moved out in 2002 I was up to 785 elec for the same 1 bedroom.



Take my word it isn?t worth the hassle, nor you LIFE!!!
