Its not a bad place, but terrible staff

I didn't mind my apartment so much, but just as others complained, my complaints fall within the staff as well. Maintenance never showed up unless I made several calls. The emergency line that you can call right now as October 2006 has an answering machine---who still has one of those. And obviously no one checks it because my kitchen flooded and no one appeared until the next day. The staff NEVER gets back to you and the customer service there is horrible. I am black and since most of the staff is black I suppose they think you're cool because your young and black too and they can slack on their jobs or something because no one illustrates any type of professionalism...including the manager. I had to have an attorney present just to get their attention and make them do their jobs. It pays to have friends in high places. People may think the property is not that bad, which it isn't but you will always have to deal with the front office or maintenance and when you do the frustration will kick in ten fold. Even if you are a patient person, Cypress Creek will break that ground for you. Stay away! There are many more mediocre apts in maryland that you can find with better customer service.
