We have lived in this complex for over a year and have been trying to move...for over a year. First of all, the management and maintenence are separate factions. Management is nice and courteous... maintenence is ghetto and they take their time to respond to issues and the maintenence manager doesn't return phone calls. We have had issues with everything you can think of; from car thefts (4 tag theft), flooding, the terrible heating system (which is a pump, not central heat by the way), and of course BUGS!! The bugs are by far the worst and we live on the 1st floor. We got a new fridge when we moved in, but everyone wasn't so lucky. The other appliances are very outdated and work sometimes. The washer above us flooded and it rained in our apt around 5 or 6 times. And everytime we called maintenence they came to our apt like it was something we were doing. There is no controlled entry so people can sit outside your building for as long as they please. We also had the pleasure of meeting a mouse this past month. The fitness center has a bike and a treadmill, but you'd be lucky if you went in there and they both worked. Plus the guy who opens it comes when he wants so, the posted hours don't really matter. To be paying 1250/month for this is supposedly a bargain in the area, but it's a rip off considering everything. There is plenty of parking...the lots are first come first serve, or the street is available in front of the buildings. They are supposed to be making the lots by permit only, but that was 3 months ago. There is a psuedo security guard who drives around every few days but it doesn't make me feel safer.
