I have few complaints. It is a little pricey for the area, but nicer than other places I've lived nearby. The area in general is a bit ghetto, but not too bad. The complex itself is nice.

I have a garage spot, so I don't have parking issues, but I can understand why it is one of the common complaints. I've seen the situation vary over the years with big availability problems during certain periods (people parking by the yellow curb or near dumpsters on a very regular basis), but hasn't been that horrible the majority of the time. I'd say it's looked OK since 2005 or so. I can sympathize with the bird dropping complaints too, some of the spots suck as far as that goes.

Having a washer/dryer in unit is super nice. The kitchen and bathroom is fairly spacious. I'm lucky enough to be on the top floor with the cathedral ceilings. I like having a balcony. I've only had one time where maintenance in my apartment wasn't taken care of immediately. Maintenance around the complex is very good (if anything, it's excessive).

I agree with fannieb that the current management team is the best since I've been here. Especially Jessica, I've been very impressed with her.

I rarely hear any noise from my neighbors (pretty much kids only and there haven't been too many). Most of the noise is through the glass from the outside. I live on the parking lot side, probably better if you live on the side away from the lot.

The dumpsters don't get emptied as often as they used to, but they don't do it at 4AM any more either. I'll take less frequent but during waking hours personally.

My electricity bill goes from about $70 during spring/fall to about $160 summer/winter. This is one person with a fair amount of electronics.
