I have lived at Daniels Run for about a year and I really love it. It may be pricier than other apartments in the area, but it's immaculately clean and well-maintained, no bug or rodent problems, and you get a washer and dryer in your unit. It's also a super-fast commute to UMD.

I've seen a lot of complaints on this site about the parking situation. I originally had a garage pass but gave it up after a few months and have never had any trouble finding a spot by my building. You DO have to plan ahead and ask for a guest parking pass if you're having guests over after 10 pm, which I can see might be annoying for some people.

As for all the complaints about Orin, I really have no idea what people are talking about. You will very rarely see Orin, actually, so it's not that big of a deal.

And finally, to comment on safety, I have never felt the least bit unsafe at Daniels Run. It's not the most glamorous part of town by any means, but that doesn't mean it's unsafe.
