Overall Quite Happy From: moogle001 Date posted: 4/8/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   I've lived in Graduate Hills for three years and have been rather pleased with my stay. The rooms are spacious, attractive, and well maintained. The outside area isn't amazing, but it's pleasant, and the grills are quite handy for the occasional gathering. The staff is friendly, and though sometimes a little slow, they're helpful. It's also literally right across the street from UMCP. Now, there have been some problems over the years. We have had some incidents with roaches, but the staff is good about sending in exterminators, who have taken care of it. There were also problems with power surges and blackouts, but all of College Park seems to have had that issue. While there were periods when it was fairly frequent, most of the time it's fine. Also, because its close to campus, there have been periods of increased crime, but overall I've always felt safe. Finally, parking is limited, and towing can be a real pain, but there's the overflow lot behind the buildings which is almost never filled.
