Deceptive Part 2

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
After living in a two bedroom apartment, i transfered to an efficiency paying $680.00 with all utilities included. in the begining the place was cute. It wasnt your typical efficiency; a large open space, instead it separated my living area from my bedroom area. I had no problems with the place, it even had a private entrance.
the problems came later when my private entrance had dim lighting that made me afraid to come and go as i pleased after hours. my apartment faced the woods and i would see raccoons, possums, and deer dangerously close to my dumpster or door. I had one window and it was so stuffy in there i needed a humidifier to keep the air moist. If i turned on the heat, i was in a furnace. If i turned off the heat, i was in antartica, there was no medium. When it rained one night, i woke up with a flood of water from my living room to my kitchen. i had to evacutate immediately. The apartment smelled musky and my daughter and I became sick. My daughter had chronic bronchitus and we figured out there was mold in the unit. When maintenance removed the mold, they shifted so many things around that it was as if i just moved in. This was the second time I had to clean up from top to bottom because they did the same thing when they laid down new carpet from the flood. i had to demand them to lay down the new carpet because they just wanted to shampoo the old one that got flooded! Management was still nice but that wasnt enough to say that i would not be living at Highview anymore. You may as well rent a tent in the woods, because you are not exempt from mother nature in those old shacks called apartments
