I have lived in Highview for almost 3 years, and would have to agree that it is not a bad place to live. We have had roach issues a few times since I have lived here, (at one point they were coming out of the shower's drain... GROSS!!!) but then 2 things have happened which I think contributed to not seeing a roach in almost 6 months:
1) A dirty neighbour that lived upstairs moved out
2) Every 3 months I request the apartment to be sprayed, and I also ask for the utility room next to my apartment (I live in the basement) to be sprayed also.

I have seen 1 rat in my years living here (it was summer 2006), and I swore that if I saw another, I would move out.
I still live here... none, so far.
I think the roach/rat problem is gone, for now, anyway....
Yes, the cupboards and kitchen appliances are dated... or maybe thats just my apartment, who knows'

Ok, so now the bad news! (lol j/k)

Outside of what I stated above, there isnt anything bad I can say about my stay here... the apartment is a very nice size, management/maintenance respond quickly to any queries, parking is decent, etc etc...

I would say, yes, live here... just be prepared to ask for a spray of your apartment every 3 months, and you shouldn't have any issues with vermin.
