I have been a resident of these apartments since 1999; I must admit the first two years were okay. I did not have any complaints. The maintenance was excellent, prompt and on time. I like the security of the buildings and I like the playground area since I have a child. Most residents are courteous and respectful.








Within the last year I do not know what happened. Management has changed three times. Roaches are taking over and the mice are telling me they now want this apartment. You would not believe it. One weekend I caught 8 mice. They have come in to cover up holes, but it is not helping. I live in a bottom level apartment next to the laundry room. I really think the quality of maintenance and management has a lot to do with the fall of Lasalle Park. I also think the they no longer pick quality residents. Some are so ghetto that they leave a rug in the security door so anyone can come in. Of course, when I come through I close it. I had a hole in my bathroom ceiling, because the residents above me do not know how to put a rug or how to use a shower curtain so that the floor does not flood to keep it from coming through to my ceiling. I asked if I could get my bathroom painted and I was told after six years. In six years the mice will own this apartment. I plan to move and to call the health department. This unit should not be rented to anyone else. I have asked for a new stove and never received one. Just as I am typing this a mice is in here.AGAIN
