PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE, If you ever have a convo with rental office staff or management staff regarding ANYTHING, get it in WRITING. I cannot stress that enough. I am in the process of reporting LaSalle and GHA for questionable business practices. not going into too many details. MY ADVICE: ANYONE STILL LIVING THERE...KNOW YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO GET A RECEIPT FOR YOUR RENT PAID EVERY MONTH. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DO SO. WHEN YOU SUBMITT YOUR 30-DAY NOTICE, REQUEST A RECEIPT OF THAT. AFTER YOUR WALKTHROUGH REQUEST A LETTER STATING YOUR WALKTHROUGH WAS COMPLETED. REQUEST YOUR FILE BE PRESENT WHEN YOUR LETTER IS BEING WRITTEN. THEY WILL USE ANYTHING THEY CAN AGAINST YOU.
