I moved into this complex in November 07 and in the beginning everything was good. Dont get me wrong, the apartments are pretty spacious and nice. Ive never had a problem getting maintenance to come out when I needed something. However, the management is ghetto as hell. They post these nasty messages on the front door of the building with grammatical errors out the butt and leave rude notes on your door for all of your neighbors to see. When i moved in, i was told that gas and electric was not included in the rent and i had to pay that separate. that wasnt a problem until i received my first bill on the 18th of the month and was told it was due on the 1st. they dont give you 30 days to pay like pepco does and they dont even meter each apt individually. they take the usage for the whole building and split it up based on how many units are in the building. no wonder my damn bill wont go down when i keep all the lights off!!! then they decided to start makign the gas and electric payments be paid directly to the rental office and if you dont get thta mofo in there on the first they will be posting signs on your door threatening to evict you for a $150.00 bill.
then there is the paper thin front doors and the loud ass people on their balcony at all hours of the night laughing and hollerin. when you walk in the building you can hear everyones conversations is detail and everyones business because the doors are paper thin. young adults smoke weed and make noise till all hours of the night when i have to get up for work in the morning.
and then there is the MICE! these arent your average mice either, these mice are smart as hell. it took us two weeks to catch that mofo with sticky traps and poison all over the house and we finally had to take it into our own hands because management wont take it seriously.
