I moved in to Prince George's Apartments at the end of August and I have LOVED living here so far. I was quite shocked to see all the negative comments about the complex, so I decided to write about my positive perspective on the place.

Every time I have had a problem, the maintenance man comes to fix it right away - he is great! He even came at 8pm one night to deal with some wasps that had gotten in through an open vent and to fix the vent. He stayed in my apartment for almost an hour killing the wasps one by one and making sure they were gone and I was safe before he left. As for roaches, I have seen one roach so far and I reported it to the front office immediately. A day and a half later they had the exterminator come spray all my rooms and I haven't seen a roach since. If anything changes as the weather gets colder I will update this review.

My apartment is beautiful and very spacious! And the grounds are pretty and well-kept as well. The apartment complex was architectured to be aesthetically pleasing as well as functional and you can see how each of the buildings are slightly different and unique. The grounds are well lit and I have never really felt unsafe here. Parking is sometimes cramped, but I have never not been able to find a spot (there is parking both in front of and behind the complex). And visitor parking is on the street but there is ample space for them to park. The woman in the front office - Sharon - can be cranky sometimes, but she is always willing to help when needed. And her assistant is really great I actually like him better than her.

The only truly negative thing I can think of at the moment is that the apartment has window AC units (which work very well, by the way) but that means that I can't open the windows and sometimes I really want some fresh air. Other than that I am very much enjoying living here! And the rent is SO affordable and includes utilities. Please don't judge this apartment complex by some of the very negative reviews on here. Come check it out yourself and make an informed decision.
