Do yourself a tremendous favor and stay away. I was there for less than a month, when the nightmare started. There should be a skull and cross-bones next to anything advertising this place. The ventilation was so bad that mold starting growing in every room in the apartment except for the kitchen. I constantly called the rental office and there solution to everything was a fresh coat of paint. They even decided to drill holes under the windows to allow fresh air to circulate. After several doctor visits because my asthma was out of control due to the mold, I called the health department. A health department inspector came out and after he reviewed my doctor notes and inspected the apartment, he immediately flagged my apartment as being UNFIT FOR HUMAN HABITATION! He ordered the apartment vacated and stated that it could not be rented again until repairs were done and reinspected. Months later after I was settled in my new place in another apartment complex, I received a notice that Monocle Management (slum lords) was suing me for breaking my lease by not giving them a proper 30-day notice of my intent to move. They sent my name to the credit bureau and really tried to screw me. After I explained everything to Monocle's attorney and provided him with copies of all of my documentation, including the inspector's report, he apologized to me and sent me a copy of his letter to the credit bureau to correct what had been submitted on me. Monocle Management attorney turned out to be a decent human being. It too bad that I can't say anything good about his client. If you see any apartment that is managed by Monocle Management, BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!
