DON'T EVEN CONSIDER MOVING HERE

3/5/08. I've been here since 10/07, it is hands down the worst apt. community i've even witnessed. There's no reason to live here unless you absolutely cannot find anywhere else on the planet to live. There are mice and roaches (the least of the problems). Specifically, mgmt. is incompetent. I spent many hours painting each room of my apt home a different brilliant color. When my refridgerator broke down, I requested a replacement, when i arrived home that day someone had completely painted my bathroom white again. Problem is I didnt ask for it to be painted. I close every door in the apt before leaving for work in the morning. So that means whoever installed my refridgerator was roaming through my place, smoking cigerettes and leaving butts in my toilet. Mgmt. was unable to identify the person who entered my apt and painted my bathroom. The heating units are so loud you cannot hear your tv, the walls and ceilings are paper thin. There is an ------- family of 8 living above me in a 2 bdrm unit. During the day they operate an illegal non-licensed daycare center. The noise is unbearable. Aside from this, mgmt does not enforce the no loitering policy. The amount of people hanging out in front of each building is insane. I cant go on with this. Do yourself a favor and commit suicide if you cant find anyplace else to stay. This place is a ghetto dump. It rates poorly in all measurable catagories.

Lived here?

I must concur. I lived there for 5 years. At first when the families were there it was great, then another element moved in. The loitering is UNBEARABLE. People of all ages sitting on the front step. When you come home from work, you are greeted by an audience EVERYDAY-rain or shine.
Pests, from mice to roaches to spiders. Everyday during our last month there my husband would come home from work and have to throw away a glue trap with a mouse in it. The roaches are no better. Management will send out an exterminator, but that does not help the problem. In fact, during certain times of the year, it makes it worse. I remember waking up one morning, going into the frontroom and no joke, counting a roach every 5 min. They would crawl up on the bed hourly and get stuck in the televisions.
Shootings and drug dealers. I have never seen a person die before until I moved here. There was an audience in the front yard drinking and playing their car radios loud one evening recently. When it turned evening while my children were in their rooms playing, we heard this
loud BAM! BAM! BAM! My husband and I went to the window and saw a man
stumble and then he fell. His life had expired right in our yard outside our window. After calling the police, we decided to vacate the
premises immediately. The rent is relatively inexpensive however they
raised it three times during our last year there and they only gave you a 30 day notice before doing that.
In conclusion, if you need a place to live and cannot find anywhere else, rent there, however, do NOT stay there for long.
