I lived here for almost 4 years. It's a wonderful place. Nice friendly neighbors. ( Some older people - which in this day in time it's a good thing that their in the lobby "taking notes" while chit chatting). Although the building is 60 years old, the maintenance workers keeps the building in good shape.(There's a 24 hour emergency line) I loved that fact that there are elevators and a 24-hr. laundry room (must used a key card-available from management office.) There's a park like setting in front of the 2 buildings. Great for the kids that do live in the buildings. There are a quite a few parks in the area. And elementary school within walking distance. A mini shopping center literally right behind one of the buildings - Murry's food store, a nail shop, H & R block, a few other stores. Shoppers grocery store is right up the street. Along with a Seafood place, McDonald's and Popeyes. The only downfall that I had was lack of parking spaces available on the lot. If your coming home late, you're better off parking on the streets. And the occassional elevator outage- I think it was only 3 that whole time I lived there. Thinking about moving back there. Oxon Hill is too noisy. With Canonbury and Fleetwood aparments are the corner, sometimes you may encounter some unruly teenager/young person. Check for those reviews on here. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to move in those places!!

I'm soory but it's not what it uesd to be. yes residents take notes but mantinents, bad "The little park" children cant play sports like football, better yet cant even pass the ball unless there 3ft. away from each other and cant ride there bikes around there. im sorry but....That place is darn right horrrible!
