I live in Autumn Woods too and have sometimes been frustrated with maintenance. We had to wait a week to have our toilet fixed back in June and have given up on using the garbage disposal...but nothing bad enough to write to press about. The most annoying thing is the neighbor in the apt above our bedroom who has some pounding bass instrument. Snow removal was a problem - it turned to ice that scraped everyone's cars. My husband and I were reasonably satisfied but are moving for a reason mentioned by several other - no pets allowed. I don't see why you can't have pets -- children, smokers, etc. cause just as many problems if you ask me. And I do think that some of the maintenance problems would have been intolerable had we not been able to stay with family nearby a few times (e.g. when the AC wasn't working, the toilet broke, when there was construction that caused the walls to vibrate, and when the apt was doused with noxious pesticides that weren't necessary). Something no one else has mentioned - we had major problems with the postal service. Some mail just never arrived (like our verizon bill and magazines we subscribed too) as does anything w/o the apt # on it. And even though packages are supposed to be delivered to the office if no one is home, they occasionally get left outside of people's doors in plain view. I did feel safe here and the parking was never a problem.
