In response to whomever anonymously wrote "Amazing," you are DEAD ON BALLS WRONG! I posted a complimentary rating because I happen to LOVE Gateway Village and most of that is because of the office staff. If you think the manager is never in the office, maybe you should stop by during BUSINESS HOURS''' The hours are clearly posted on the door. I have NEVER ONCE been there and not been helped! As for the "high electric bills", my bill was $72.00 last month and I ran my A/C full blast day and night! In the winter, my higest bill was $90 and I live on the 3rd floor with cathedral ceilings! If you can't pay $70.00, you should move to an apartment complex where electric is included in your rent! Seriously, if you can't afford to live there, you should seek other living arrangements.

As for the pool, hello, you knew there was no pool when you moved in. It's not like we had a pool and someone filled it with dirt. AGAIN, if you want to float around in a public CESSPOOL with urinating children and god knows what else, there are MANY apartment complexes that can suit your needs!

We didn't have storage either. Why are you complaining about it now'' You signed a lease and you KNEW there was no storage space when you moved in! When you did your apartment tour, were you sleepwalking'!'

SO...in response to your terrible review I can say this: The next time you move somewhere, you might want to keep your eyes open for what the area has and doesn't have to offer. Don't move in and THEN get upset because there is no pool or storage. Nobody made you sign your lease.

Unlike you, I am not posting this anonymously. I'm not an employee/friend or relative of anyone who works for Gateway Village. Nobody paid me for my response. If I hated the place, I would tell it to the world and then I would MOVE OUT! I live there because I want to. I am not the only one! My neighbors just renewed and my other neighbor just moved from one building to another so they could have an extra bedroom. IF Gateway Village were HALF as bad as you said it was, why are people renewing their leases and staying around for so long' In fact, I am renewing my lease ASAP!

Anyone considering Gateway Village should take a look at an apartment. If you want a pool or storage lockers, it may not be the place for you. If you want electricity included in your rent, it may not be the place for you. HOWEVER, if you have pets, it IS the place to be because they are pet friendly there.

I'd rather have my two pets, than a stinky simming pool full of bacteria ANY DAY!
