I am sorry that some of you think Robin is a bad person and everything is falling a
part. I have lived at Towne Plaza for 20 yrs. Yes Robin has rules about kids playing ball and riding bikes on the grass areas. If she let them go we would not have any grass. There is a area by the maintenance shop where kids can play ball and the elementary school is one block away. Yes the place is old but I have and everyone else has had new carpet and floors but in. The bathrms have been updated and now were are getting new windows and patio drs. I never waited over 3 days to have my AC or furnace fixed. My neighbor had problems with her AC and while it was being replaced they put a window unit in her house. The maintenance staff is great and the office staff couldn't be nicer. We have a curfew for the teens and they are not allowed to loiter on the property on be on the playgrounds. If residents are loud and disruptive to their neighbors and after they are told to stop they continue they get 30 days notice. We are family here and not a number and I like that. I got sick and was late with my rent and they worked with me. No other complex would do that. When a family member of mine died Mrs. Poole and Mr. Austin came to the funeral. The people that are complaining are probably residents that were not following the rules and got a letter from the office. Joppa Towne gets a bad rap all the time, but I would walk the streets at night and feel safe. The rent increases are low and we see where our money is going, so we understand the increase.
So come on down and move in where people care about you and your family.
