I have lived here for a little over a year. The first 3 months were lovely. I finally had a washer and dryer in my home. I didn?t mind that they were small and the washer had to be hooked up to the sink, it still got the job done.



THEN came the roaches. They weren?t from me because I was hardly home and never had food out. So I complained. The staff was pleasant and tried to help, so I can?t blame them. I instead blame the nasty people that lived under me. I battled with the roaches from June until February (I think I finally killed the last one...keep your fingers crossed!)



Then came my other roommate. My husband and I have named him Malik, the Mighty Mouse. Again I can?t blame management, and must fault my trifling building mates for allowing the mouse to make it all the up to the 3rd floor. We think we?ve killed him (again, keep your fringers crossed.)



Of course this all happened right when I received my notice about renewing the lease. Of course the answer is no, but I can?t leave until the end of May because of other obligations. So in the meantime, I must pay almost $1000 for a 1-bedroom apartment. Now that just ain?t right!!!



Oh yeah, I almost forgot my ongoing problem with the alarm system. For some reason, the exterminators can?t seem to disarm the alarm when I?m not there, which is every time they come. So within the first few months of living here, the police has been getting false alarm signals from my apartment and now monitoring of my alarm system has been suspended. So I hope I never get robbed because the police will not come to help me all because of something I have no control over.

Then came the worst thing...my husband's car was broken into and his radio was stolen. We do not feel safe at all anymore.



I can?t wait to move.
