First off, the maintenance team and management team are absolutely terrible.
They put me in an apartment that needed so much repair.
My cold water in the bathroom sink didn't work on the very first day and it took them 2 weeks to fix it.
Then my kitchen sink was leaking and making the kitchen floor come up. It took them four weeks to fix that. it stopped for about 2 weeks and now its back leaking again.
My vertical blinds in the living room do not open at all. Have put in numerous requests for new blinds and they have yet to be fixed. It's now going on 3 months.
I've seen at least 10 roaches since I moved in. Have constantly asked for my apartment to be sprayed and that hasnt happened either.
I asked for all my blinds to be replaced because when i moved in the ones already up were black and had dead flys sticking to them. They replaced one set of blinds and left the rest of the old ones up.
Heat is supposed to be free and I just got a $200 bill from PEPCO. called them and they said that Cooper's Crossing has me set up with electric heat which isn't free.
In other words, stay AWAY unless you plan on spending at least 15 hours out of your week calling management and maintenance. I'm contacting a lawyer to try and get out of my lease pronto.
