I moved into coopers crossing in may of 2004,first of all before moving in they would never let me see the apartment I was moving into until my move in date. It was nothing like the model I was shown. As I was moving in there was a maintenance man in still fixing up the place, the carpet was wet from them cleaning it an hour before I came in, there was a hole in the carpet which still is not repaired after several complaints. The people above me are constantly playing loud music up to 2 and 3 in the morning, I've been to the rental office to complain about twice a week and every time I go the property manager is never there and I leave messages for her and she never calls back. After finally speaking with her and expressing my anger she said she would put carpet in their apartment and write a letter to them letting them know to quiet down, a month later they're still playing music late at night. I've been going through this for 4 months now and nothing has changed. I just can't stand living here. Roaches, people throwing trash and sanitary pads from there windows above me. I have holes in my kitchen floor because the floor under the tile is very soft and they never fixed it, you see a lot of maintenance guys walking around and having fun like they're not on the clock, all the things that should be fixed around here and they are never doing the job. I could go on and on but I would not recommend anyone live here ever.

I am going through the exact same thing with this apartment. They showed me an entirely different apartment than the one I moved into.. it was a mixture of Joe's Apartment Arachnaphopia and a Crack House. I try to get the corporate office information but they swear they do not have it. I emailed The Property Mgmt Association and they fixed some but I am still without air conditiong and more issues. If Any one knows how to find the property management number please email me. Beauty_20785@yahoo.com

Hello,

Fortunately, I don't live there but I do have a friend that was looking to move there. After being put off for over a month for a move in date, he decided that something wasn't right and let it go. I am now in the process of assisting him in contacting the property management group and this is the phone number that I found for them 301-251-8980. The number is accurate because I called to verify that they are the owners of Cooper's Crossing complex...Good Luck with them. I have an address too if needed.

Years ago I lived at Coopers Crossing, when it was called Cherry Hill. I liked living there back then and moved out of the state. I have now returned to MD and went back to Cherry Hill to find out they are now Called Ashford at Coopers Crossing! I have to say when I came to look at the model, I was shown an apartment that was ready to rent. I applied and within 3 days I was approved. I often wonder why some people have a very hard time renting and have such a bad experience with a property and I had such an easy way to go! The management is very strick and I feel very comfortable goning in and out of my apartment, no matter of the time or day! As far as a crack house.......NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT HERE! By the way how would you know what a crack house looks like anyway?

I beleive management is responsible for the " happyatcoopers" message. It does not sound like the hell hole I move to in January 2006.

I think someone in the leasing office wrote that happyatcoopers message too.I've lived at Coopers Crossing for two years and have experienced the worst service ever. The Donaldson Group was the first company that managed Coopers Crossing. I should have known that after dealing with them it couldn't get any better. Then came the Bethany Group which seemed pretty organized in the beginning but that didn't last for long.A month into my apartment everything in the bathroom collapsed. From the tile rack to the soap holders. The water in the toilet started splashing out when flushing, the tub chipped really badly from the poor glaze job that was done- it was a disaster. Just recently I contact the office about not having air conditioning in my apartment. I called every day for three weeks and all they could say is that "I was not the only one with this problem". When calling from work they lied and said that everything was fixed and by the time I got home I was so disappointed to see that nothing had been done. After 4 weeks of surviving 90 degree weather they finally fixed the air conditioning. The amenities they offer which I was excited to see was the fitness center that's only open from the hours tenants are at work. The washer and dryers in the apartment building are flooded in dirty water in the basement which is probably why we have all the bugs. There are washer/dryers in the apartment but if you have to wash a large comforter or something you have to get through puddles of water first. And once you do that you find that the whole machine floods the down stairs when you wash after you've spent your money. I think the Bethany Group is number #1 on the list for being the most unorganized and unprofessional. I wont be fooled again by the fake first impressions from any other company that decides to manage this property because this is the last straw... Good luck to those that don't listen. You'll see for yourself.

I live at Coopers Crossing Apartments now and they have the worst management. You can't get them to fix anything. There has been times when we had no hot water and there was no letter posted in the buildings letting people know of this issue and when you call the office they say they are working on it but when you get home frow work still you don't have no hot water and the buildings are not clean you never see anyone cleaning or mapping the steps. I'm now looking for some where else to stay the apartment complex is a mess also my car has been stolen twice and once again the rental office does nothing and I have even witness a person that lives in the aparments going around picking up trash I mean how crazy is that all the money that is paid for rent she should not have to do that c'mon now.

Man I thought that I was the only one going through that here. I moved in from Atlanta about 4 years ago. It was a nice and well kept community THEN. Now I have nothing, absolutely nothing good to say about this place. I have been without a washer/dryer since December 2008 although they are still charging me for an upgraded unit. Everytime I call and ask when will my washer/dryer be fixed they tell me that the parts are on back order. Hell, I've gotten Tiffany jewelery from Japan quicker than I can get a washer/dryer that's made in the USA. For the past two DAYS yes broad daylight we've had drive by shootings where people have bullet holes in their cars and glass is still on the ground four days later. The grass is up to our knees and trash is all over the parking lot. I don't know how in the hell they expect to get full rent when they are not even putting the money to the NECESSITIES at least not the tenants necessities. I wouldn't recommend this place to someone that I didn't even care for. This place has gone to HELL. I'm in the process of reporting them to Prince Georges Housing Authorities, Slumlords or somewhere. I'm also in the process of packing, turning in my 30 day notice and finding a safer environment. I'm not used to dodging bullets. That's why I'm no longer in the military. Last year around this time I had a bad fly infestation and they did absolutely nothing. I swear I killed 47 flies in 2 days. I was so pissed I took the dead flies to the rental office and wrote them a very concerned letter. I wouldn't be supprised if this complex was under foreclosure. But I tell you one thing, I'm going to investigate who owns it and what they intend to do about our concerns. I really feel like they don't address the issues because not enough people complain. I think these people around here think that this way of living is normal.
