I currently live in a patio level apartment. I moved in a almost two months ago and so far I have no complaints. I unfortunately stumbled across this website after I signed a lease and was slightly terrified. However, after moving in and getting settled, I can say that it isn't as bad as the previous reviews.

The apartment is a decent size, has large windows and allows plenty of light. Only complaint about inside is kitchen cabinets which are quite old and noticable needing renovation, additionally the cocking around the sink is coming away from the wall leaving gaps.

Additionally, the upstairs neighbors walk pretty hard which is annoying as they start getting up at about 4:30 am.

Parking is great, landscaping is good, and I haven't had any other issues.

I haven't seen any bugs (except for a giant spider) and definitely no bats.

I'm really happy and feel like this is a great move. There is a new Safeway across the street and a Walmart coming soon. Additionally, I'm 10 minutes from DC. Couldn't ask for a better price or quality. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV

I am told that the Safeway will be renovated soon, but it's not new, that's been there for years. I am happy about the Walmart also. But, I can't move into the Walmart. I currently can't even get my cable hooked up due to improper wiring in the building. So, I am using the old rabbit ears (not fun at all). I am definately not able to call this home. Also, I requested a receipt when I put my rent in the slot on 10/1/06 and it is now 10/3/06 and I was told that no one can give me a one until the bookkeeper comes in on 10/4/06. What kind of business only has one person on staff who can give you a receipt when you put your rent in the drop box. That will teach me for using the drop box. But at least someone is happy. I hope to be happy at my next home after 8/31/07. For now I am miserable.
