Lets start at the begining. We came around August and were expecting to move in a week after we got our key. During this time we inspected the apartment and found a small amount of roaches in the kitchen are and some minor work that needed to be done before we moved in. We contact the leasing office turn in the request forms and expect everything to be taken care of. We have 2 children (4 and 1 years old) so we hired movers to bring our stuff over from our last apartment. We get there and the mover literally dropped some of our funiture at the door and asked us did we really want to move our stuff in. We walk in and the whole apartment looks like roached have been celebrating our lease signing. We contact leasing let them know that we are still having a problem and that they need to get an exterminator there immediately. In the meantime they say that they can do that by Monday. So we have to move our stuff in considering that we have turned in the keys to the old apartment already and again we hired movers we are paying by the hour. Finally we go talk to the leasing manager expressed our concearns and was told that she will personally make sure everything is okay. 2 months later were having the same conversation with no actions made. Thanksgiving comes we cant eat because roaches are committing suicide off of the top cabinet into deep fried turkey grease!!!! So we visit the manager again request to be put in another apartment or get out of our lease. Again maintence agrees. We ask if we can get a copy of our lease because they never gave us a copy when we moved in. They never got that to us and also they never transfered us out of that apartment. During this time we never missed one month of rental payments. Mind you our baby is sleeping under a net at night and we are beating bug off of us and them every second. Finally after threats of court actions and a few word here and there it seem like they are going to get it right. Wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coming home from work (a hour long commute) I pick up my kids we this time I drove the car that I could park in the parking lot because you et only one pass per household! it was raining and I had to carry the kids from the street to find out that maitainence had been there to fix the door roaches ect, Oh yea forgot to metion had to have at least 5 keys made for them personally, anyway get the to find out my key doesnt work. I look in the keyhole to see half of a key broken in the lock so I m wet with 2 kid in my arms both tired and I have to walk to the car on the street agian. It was around 7 pm so I figure the office was closed but I went up there anyway and found the leasing manager and a couple of associate enjoying milk and cookies lets just say I had some words for them. There answer was that they couldnt do anything the Manager quite and didnt fix the lock. So I expressed we wanted out of the lease again they said we would have to pay the remaining amount of rent left said no way. So we tried to speak as adults again and see if they could get everything together. I call to check everything for the arrangements that were made to find out that the whole Management team is new. So I bring pictures to the new people to hope for better service. Get the same empty promises and end up talking to another management team because that one quit. So i tried to get this new one to pull my file and they cant find it. I 10 months in my lease at this time still havent missed a payment and now I have a ceiling that is full of water and a horrible smell coming from GOD know where in the apartment building. To finish this up nothing was ever done and I will see them in court!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah they like to shoot on the field on the weekends!!!! They also installed cameras to monitor who is shooting but cant call the exterminator!!!!!
