I lived at the Ivy Club for 3 years and for the most part it was great. convenient location, free gym membership, and I have an old car so no one ever messed with it! I have had a few neighbors come and go, but no matter if they are blasting rap music or just watching tv in their homes, most people are loud, and the walls are too thin. my new neighbor has the nerve to keep reporting me cuz I am walking too heavy! HUH' I am just walking. I have no reason to stomp around just to bug her. someone needs to warn people that they may have someone heavy or someone with kids above them, and you will hear movement. that ruined it for me. also, the parking in some sections of the complex is absolutely terrible, so don't rent at the the end farthest from Fed Ex field. I never felt worried about crime, and the rental staff is nice. but beware of the thin walls!

Just to comment on the thin walls/noise - it's true, I do believe there are pretty thin walls in the apartments because I sometimes hear music playing from the apartment next door. However, since we're on the top floor, there is very little noice overall. Besides the apartment next to us, we hear very little noise. My husband, dog and I are pretty loud when we're running around the house, but I've never heard a complaint from anyone. So either the floor/ceiling is decently thick, or we have really easy going neighors!

Yes, you have very easy going neighbors!!! We live on the third floor and our neighbor above us just doesn't sleep! Sex at 3 am, get ready for work at 5, loud TV at night, blasting music on the weekend, dancing with guests, you name it, it is more than the squicky ceiling already. Yes, the ceilings here are squicky and that's supposed to be "normal". I hate it here.

Sound like you guys should have moved to a third floor...Nobody walking above me, but my neighbor hates me. She's even made comments on my sexual stamina (eeew!). Now I can't help thinking she's touching herself when I'm...well, you know...the thought is sickening.
