Worst Staff EVER!

I donāt care if the rent is FREE - donāt even think about moving into the Ivy Club Apartments.

The leasing staff is horribly incompetent. Every time I stopped by the office the place was a ghost town. The office hours are 9-5, Monday through Saturday. But when I show up at 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon there's no one around. And getting in touch with the leasing manager (R. Brooks) is next to impossible. They always tell me, āSheās on callā or āSheās unavailableā or āSheās in a conference.ā I've called numerous times in a day and gotten the same excuses over and over.

The worst part is that the Ivy Club staff canāt even keep up with the RENT CHECKS.

My May check went into the drop box located right outside of the leasing office. But eight days after I dropped it off the leasing office sent me a letter stating that my rent was ālateā, that theyāve ātaken legal actionā and that Iāll be billed for ālegal fees.ā And they donāt deliver the letter in person during business hours. Instead they slide it under my door so I can't call them on it.

The next day they claimed that they would have the court case dismissed but I ended up taking hours off work and driving all the way to the county courthouse just to make sure that everything was settled. I also had to pay a $25 fee to put a stop payment on the check that THEY lost in the first place.

Then two weeks later I came home to find yet another threatening letter under my door stating that I had some ādelinquent balanceā of $200. No explanations as to what the money was for or where they came up with this amount. And of course it took several calls to the office before I could finally get somebody on the phone about it.

Bottom line: you're GUARANTEED to have problems once you move into this place but don't expect any help from the staff when you do. The incompetenece of the leasing office was completely unacceptable and you'll end up counting the days until you can finally move out.
