If you like to be woke up by gun shots at night this is the place to live. The night I moved in I was woke up because I heard a loud explosion. Someone blow up a van parked out side the fenced in area. The flames were so high I could see them over the three story building across the parking lot. Often I would hear gun shots late at night when I let my dog out. Most of the time the guard was talking on his phone and I seen people walk in off the street through the gate without showing an I.D.. I lived here only because I wanted to use the Metro located about 1 mile from the apartments, after a police officer friend of mine (which was shoot just down the street from the Ivy Club apartments) told me cars are stolen from there almost every day I decided not to use it. Our neighbor which happened to be white would walk home from the metro sometimes, when she did she would ussually got harassed by the local people including children. The Staff was pretty bad, the manager was the worst. I was in the military at the time and recieved orders to a different state, I had a very hard time getting out of my lease agreement. My commanding officer had to call the Staff to settle the issue. Also when I moved in I asked the staff about if any cars got broke into in the parking lot and they said no. I later found out that over 20 cars got broke into in less then a year. I would never recommend living here.
