I'm so glad I logged onto Rent.com and found The Ivy Club! I knew immediately from my first visit that I wanted to live here.
I been here two (2) months now with my 8-yr old daughter, and I think The Ivy Club is a GREAT place to live.
I've read some of the negative comments, and I find it difficult to believe they're talking about the same place! I feel very safe here, I've not seen any loitering on the grounds, it's quiet, and very clean.
There have been one or two rare incidents of loud noise or music, but they've been resolved immediately by asking my neighbors to tone it down, and it hasn't happened again.
As far as the traffic during game days, I thought that would be an issue, but it's no problem at all after finding all of the other alternate routes available.
I have a suggestion though -- A few designated areas on the grounds to dispose of large items such as furniture, matresses, etc.
and timely disposal of them.
My unit is directly across from a dumpster, and I had to see someone's dirty mattress (an eyesore) every time I looked out of my window for two (2) weeks until it was picked up.
But it was during a time when the maintenance staff was short-handed, and those things happen.
An apartment complex can only be as good as it's tennants; and it's the tennants that make someplace nice to live.
If people take care of the place they live (i.e., put trash in the dumpsters and not on the grass, etc.), and have consideration for their neighbors (ie, not blasting music or talking loud outside at night) then anyplace can be nice.
I am fortunate to have neighbors in my building that have some common sense and courtesy for each other.
I have found the management staff to be friendly and professional.
The maintenance staff has addressed any issues regarding my apartment in a timely manner.
I received a $25 gift card from Target from the Management, and I got a $100 Visa card from Rent.com, which was teriffic! The membership to the Sports and Learning Complex is also a nice perk; and the cookies at the Leasing Office are yummy!
All of my friends and family have been impressed with the property, and I've even suggested The Ivy Club to a friend who is relocating to this area from PA.
I've settled in now, and I'm happy to call The Ivy Club my HOME!
