When I first moved in I was under the assumption that this would be an enjoyable experience. After living here for a while, I have realized that I was wrong. The main issue that I have is the outright unprofessional attitude of the Ivy Club Staff. You are made to feel that if you have an issue or disagreement with them, then you are wrong and can surely guarantee that you will receive a response with attitude and sarcasm. The resident manager sets a very negative example on how to treat the residents. Their actions demonstrate that if you aren't apart of their "click" or group then you will be disregarded and are beneath them. Now as far as the apartment atmosphere is concerned, there have been problems of noise and people hanging outside the building, but what else would you expect from Landover. The gate doesn't protect you from a ghetto mentality. If you can either deal with kissing up to the staff or just staying away, then this place is for you.

I am a former tenant of the Ivy Club Apartments in Landover, Maryland from 2003- 2005. I am sorry to read about the experience of this former tenant and very surprised do the strict guidelines and professonalism that the Ivy Club has become to represent. During my stay, the tenants respected the property and the fact that they lived in apartments not single family homes and this was inforced by the management team! The management team made ALL tenants feel that their needs and concerns were important and valued them as a part of the Ivy Club family. I know that the Ivy Club value all responses they get from former and current tenants and will act upon them to continue to keep The Ivy Club Apartments the Best in Landover, Maryland, because this is what the people of Prince Georges County deserves!
