We got the last minute bait and switch routine. What you see is not what you get and what you get comes with promises that will never be kept. I have been working 50 hours/week for the past 3 months. That is my only excuse for still being here. My lease was up last month.

After a year, I can say the visible grounds are well maintained. The puddle of water under my townhouse drew mosquitoes. The large cracks that appeared in the walls and ceiling let in spiders. Mold Started growing on the kitchen and the bathroom walls. The dryer was not vented to the outside. I twisted my knee trying to save my husbands car from the most suspect tow company in town. The water stain in the kitchen became a full leak that began to drip into the light casing. People work on cars in the parking lot. The resident manager is rude and avoids contact whenever there are problems. I was taken to court for two months of rent that was already paid. The court granted me an escrow account for my rent. Code Enforcement cited the community for my townhouse. Dirty stray cats prowl the property. There was a break in three doors down. The gunfire at night is getting closer. I have been in other units. the place should be shut down before a ceiling falls on someone. Or sold to someone willing to reinvest money into the structure.

I have begun my new year by looking for a new place.
