While Kent Village is not a luxurious place, it's o.k. if you're on the lower end of the income bracket.
The grounds are maintained fairly neatly, the office staff seemingly courteous, but maintenance not always on time. We had to deal with numerous attempts to fix a broken a/c unit instead of replacing it, when the freezer broke, it took 5 calls & 7 days for them to check it. We mentioned to the section manager that 1 of the a/c units let in ants, she said she would be on it in May, it's now Nov. & someone just showed up yesterday to fix it. Not to mention the many times i have been sleeping in (when off from work) on a weekday morning & was woken by maintenance walking in my apartment.
Overall we're more dissatisfied than not with the surrounding neighborhood which doesn't really have many stores, not to mention YOU CAN'T HAVE ANYTHING DELIVERED. After used to being able to order pizza then finding out we lived in a NO DELIVER ZONE because the drivers were being beaten up then robbed (plus 1 of my friends ran into the same while walking to my apartment from the metro), & some guy being shot on Pinebrook Rd., we're moving out after over 8 yr.s (of steadily increasing rental rates).
