It's alright...besides it's Landover

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
Well, I survived the first year, and now on the first part on my second year. Before, I moved here I was warned about the infamous 25 (roaches, mice, drug trafficking) but I must say it's okay. Now, don't get me wrong, I still haven't invited my family over. I can't because it is embarrassing. But, my apartment DOES NOT have any mice (knocking on wood), and roaches are to a minimum (every now and again do I see one). But, they do have some interesting other critters, but again it's to a minimum. Kings Square works on a if you pay your rent on time, then they will fix anything that you ask. Since, I've been there I have had problems with the bathroom (tiles on the floor coming up, ceiling leaking, etc.) but everytime I call they are there within a day or two. But, I know that if you paid late a time or two, they ain't messing with you until they feel like it. I live on a decent side, but the amigos are taking over. The ones in my building used to be of the hook. Always siding on the front drinking, breaking bottles, hanging out the windows. But, after PG locked some of there azzes up, they are alright (still hanging out the window like a peeping tom). Parking is atrocious around there, and there are a lot of lazy people honking their car horns from times of the day, Very irratating. Every now and again, something must be showing off their new weapon - gun. Shooting up in the air a couple of times (I guess to see if it works). Bad azz kids (I wonder why parents are letting their kids hang outside after 9 or 10 pm - them little rag-a-mufins should be getting ready for school, not running around adding to the other menaces).
With all that said, I move here becasue my rental history wasn't the best in the past, and Kings Square lets anyone in (hence the problems) for a nice deposit. Myt deposit wasn't bad, but they will get a lot of people (they do discriminate - that is how they determine what your deposit will be). If you come in there acting ghetto (even though the neighborhood is), they make you pay top dollar because they figure that you won't be there long cuz you can't pay the rent (in a lot of cases that is true). I've seen people move in and within in three months there gone. So, use it to establish your rental history, pay on time, and move on. This is my last year, so I will ride it out until July (and get all of my deposit back). How rare is that' Kings Square normally evicts peoples, so they keep the deposit, but I ain't going for that. Give me mine!
