They sold me on the fact that the rent was affordable and that it was a quiet neighborhood fairly close to my office and the metro. The closeness to my office was true, but the quiet part - not even close. I'm awake all night listening to the beat of the base coming from the apartments all around me. Little kids run screaming through the stairwells, and their parents couldn't care less. Parents scream at the top of their lungs at thier kids - not to mention each other at all hours of the day and night - and it is absolutely unbearable. I thought this would be a nice place to live. It has turned into a nightmare. The neighbors are scary. The building is deafening. The neighborhood is nice, but sits in between two ghettos - which means going anywhere requires bullet proof armor. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
