I can tell that you must have lived in the ghetto all your life, for you to say the things that you have said in reguards to the reviews. You dont know what customer service or community management is all about.

Uh, isn't it their job to handle all the calls and questions that come in. They are not there to just sit around and do nothing.

Your defense is as piss poor as the staff’s professionalism. You are telling me that one has to move in before they can be treated cordial? If it's hard for them to deal with people then they are in the wrong profession. Customer Service is priority. Seems to me that you are used to be treated inadequately so their behavior is normal for you which is so sad. You are correct in one aspect, that people who don’t like Overland Gardens should buy a house because having someone like yourself who conforms to anything as a neighbor is an injustice

I am currently looking for an apartment to move-in by April 1st. I intially called to schedule an appointment with a nice lady with Overland Gardens, and was unable to make my appointment due to an emergency, but when I called to reschedule, I spoke to Marshon(?)...ghetto was far beyond what I experienced. She was chewing gum in my ear, and when I asked her about the availability for 04/06, she didn't know. Why in the world would she even bother answering the phone if she can't answer questions, or at least find out the answer. It's too bad, because that experience along with everyone elses reviews have totally discouraged me to even come there. I really hope they get a better staff in there, or at least get some qualified receptionists.

I recently applied to the property. The staff was very professional in their interactions with me. Working with the public can be very demanding, but you will be treated the way you treat others, whether it's right or wrong. I have no idea how you approached the staff on your visit, but that may be one reason for your bad experience.

leave my neighbor alone and the rental office i'm tired of folks going on them because they get denied or they are over income. The staff is beyond nice like i stated before they stay late to move people in and prior to me moving i called everyday bothering the hell out of them and i was always greeted with pleasantries, it is in how you approach people. and i've seen the people that come in there to apply, thinking somebody owes them something, it aint burger king and you cannot have it your way. move on get a life and be blessed for it. and unless you have worked in customer service and had someone call you out of your name you should not speak on what people who do work in the field should do. the customer is not always right. sometimes the customer is an azzhole.

I am an applicant who recently called in to make an appointment with Overland Apartments and I had no problems at all with the staff. The leasing associate was quite polite and responsive to my questions. She had a clear understanding of the property so all of my questions were answered immediately. I am actually very surprised at the negative comments about this property. Looking at the date of the previous reviews maybe that was then and this is now, five months later. In any event, I am looking forward to moving into Overland Apartments.
