It has finally happened as I stated back on 2/15 Overland Gardens is under new management I knew Humphrey was not going to last long! Let's see what this new company is going to do for us....

Dam this is supposed to be an apartment review, not a who's more ghetto review. Get over it people, you have too much dam time on your hands. I was told I had to plow my own driveway, and where in writing does it say they plow it for me, cause if that's the case I have some talking to do with the manager.

I love my apartment despite the weed heads that live next door to me. And I have reviewed other comments and find some of my experiences and my opinion rather the same. But hey that's what happens when you let people with no net worth move somewhere where they believe that now they are moving on up........It behooves me to see Hummer's and Benz's parked outside and no one pays mortgage, it's just rather backwards to me... but I guess they just needed a place to store their expensive vehicles without getting off of section 8.

Overland has its problems. Most Prince Georges County apartment communities have problems. Its a toss up. You can get a nice apartment at Overland for a decent price. There is some rif raf however. The bottom line is - they are apartments - i.e., people rent them. Rentals generally don't last forever and people tend to pay more attention to purchased property. I plan to live my lease out at Overland and purchase something more desirable in the future. If that is what you are seeking to do, I recommend Overland, but people from all walks of life will wind up in apartment communities all over the earth, so referring to people as Ghetto is somewhat unproductive.s

i dont think anybody ran off with the rent my rent always comes out the bank on time accept for once, i know they use some f--ked up computer system they had to correct my balance a few times. and trust me you know how black folks are they saw something new, that they couldn't afford and now they are about to get put out, a girl i went to school with is about to get put out from over here and she owes like 5000 dollars how do i know cuz she asked me could she borrow some money. she said she got it cuz it was new knowing she didn't know how she was going to pay for it. Lets get real people i laughed at her and told her she better sell some ass or something owing 5000.

Correction LOCO, they have a new asst. manager, they are not under NEW MANAGEMENT as you stated. You are obviously LOCO after reading some of your posts especially the dummy of the year post about someone plowing your dam driveway. I have been through the lease and addendums and have not found anything that states that, so get your facts straight before making dumb ass comments next time. The new asst manager told me they have known about the delinquent rents for a while and have sent letters and filed in court but still have not been paid. She said they were trying to be discreet and not humiliate anyone by posting on there door which is why they posted a GENERAL statement not directed to those who PAY THEIR RENT. Maybe you mad cause they finally got tired of YOUR, I mean the non-paying, fake me out trying to live like a baller, utilities getting cut off every month while on section 8 AZZ!

So why haven't they evicted people anonymouslyyours? Why let the situation get so bad that now they have to post general signs in the building forget being nice KICK THEM OUT. I get up every morning and take my butt to work so I can pay my rent, I don't depend on anyone especially when it comes to money! And section8mob just beacuse the check says Overland Gardens on it so what, the question is who has access to the account that these checks are being deposited into. It's easy to embezzle money especially if you are signator on the account, I know I'm a Financial Crimes Investigation Specialist at a well known financial institution. I see employees stealing money from business accounts all the time. If someone can steal you identity want makes you think they won't take money from a business, DUH!

Umm I always place the name of my development on my check when I make it out and never have problem section8mobs??? So what are you saying? You sound dumb. Anyone who writes or has written checks for an apt complex would know thats who you make it out to.
