I heard alot of Kings Square residents are going to be and have moved over to this complex. Plus why are they advertising on Craiglist' I only see desperate apt complexes advertising on there for the most part. I drove through the property and they still have tons of vacant units meaning alot of section 8 people will come. Thats scary to think of what this complex will become'''' I'm not a hater at all and THIS IS MY OPINION AND OBSERVATION!!!!! gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7

I'm not saying rent or do not rent thats a decision you have to make. The question is, how can you judge section 8 people if you are interested in LOW INCOME HOUSING? If you read the post, they are not making any sense. Vacant units=under construction. It doesnt mean what he is implying that section 8 residents will come. And if they did, SO FRIGGIN what!

I would like to move around their myself and I think it would be nice if less section 8 recipients stay out. From my past experiences it looks to me like section 8 people bring the property down. They don't know how to take care of anything. I like a peaceful neighborhood not a poverty stricken place for all the money we pay in rent nowadays everybody else should want the same.

SECTION 8 people are lazy!!! Eww I know you all are going to be mad at me for that one. But its the truth. WHY can't you lazy chicks get a job and pay rent like everyone else. Its not fair that because I didn't lay on my back and have 4 fatherless children I don't get to live in a luxary apartment for a tiny fraction of the rent. Lazy itches. GET A JOB. Work hard. Struggle. You put yourself in that position. I work in property management. I lease apartments in PG County. The section 8 ladies come into the office GHETTO as hell. They look like a billion bucks (designer clothes and shoes) then there children be looking like some ----. Clothes don't match, ashy, hair looking a mess. Then got the nerve to be paying like $250 for a three bedroom apartment. Thats some --------. Then they don't take care of the apartments. They are just plain ghetto and I think they are dirty. Let me say this, 10% of the people could be okay, hard working, and deserving of the assitance but the rest of them need to live somewhere in SE. I think that some of them meant to have like 3 or four kids to get a free ride. I hate section 8 women. YES I said it I am a Section 8. Dirty asses.

Shoot I agree with you it isnt fair. I have two children and have to struggle to pay market rent in a decent area plus my other bills etc. They get large units in decent apts and just dog them out and then move on to the next one. I have experienced this in my complex where they only pay half the market rent or less. Decent working females w/kids cant even get any assistance. Yes and again not all of them are like that but most are. Sorry its the truth and no need to get upset when reading OUR comments.

I would like to respond to the two previous respondes. I am a Section 8 voucher holder, and am deeply offended by what you wrote. I am not lazy or dirty. I work everyday and make over 30,000 a year as an administrative assistant. I pay close to $800 per month for rent and that with the Section 8 voucher. I am a single mother with two children and believe that I deserve the rental assistance that I receive. My children are not dirty and are well taken care of. I think both of you need to get off your high horses and stop stereo-typing Section 8 people. I lot of them are hard work people like myself. I struggle and work hard everyday to keep a roof over my children heads. People like you just make me sick.

I like to respond to the three previous responders. I agree to a point with the first two ,and the third. I have Section-8 myself a single mother that works hard and makes over 33k a year . I pay more than half of my rent and soon I will be off the program with my credit together and ready to by a house. I dont live at overland but was thinking about moving there. And leaving the ---- hole I'm in. All complex say they are upscale but move in trash. And give women like myself a hard time because of the ones that came in before me.I live in a building were half of the tenants have section 8 and they are all of the above dirty, foul, lazy and unemployed with a rack of kids The majority of them are destructive and rip up the property they live at, its a shame. I Know I sound like the pot calling the kettle black. But I look at it in a different way, (When a rapper calls a women a B#%! in his music they are not refering to me, because I do not fall under there difinition of a b#$%.) But if the shoe fits wear it and there are a lot of dirty baby having hood rat section 8 bi!#$% out there that give women like me and cristaboo a bad rap.

Not all Section 8 recipiants are trifflin. But the ones who are, give the ones who work hard and utilize the help in the way it is suppose to be used a bad name. The few, compaired to the majority who just sit at home doing nothing all day, are not talked about. Society only reconize the bad things. That way they can have something to talk about. I commend all those that use the program in a good way. Don't get mad when you see or hear some one say something bad about section 8 recipients, they are not talking about you.

Most Section 8 recipiants are triflin. Its so sad today when I lie to you not. Little 16 year old girls with babies say "My goal is to be on section 8 by the time I'm 18" Its the example set by their Section 8 mothers that life is all about being lazy and getting things for free. I only feel sorry for the kids but I wish they could make these programs harder to get. These roach babies really piss me off!
