What is the area like' Crime stats/incidents' Is Landover really being revitalized'

I've seen a lot of complaints about problems in the units or with the staff. Does anyone have any comments about the area, neighboring apartments/houses' The safety of that area/strip stores nearby' For a single young female,does anyone feel safe going to get gas late at night or coming home late at night' For those who have lived there a year or more, have you noticed any change (postive/for the better) in the # of crime incidents' Everyone I talk to says, "that's not a good area" but I'm trying to find out 'why' from people who live there before moving in. I do like the look and roominess of the apartments. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
