Your recommendations are all good; however, do you really believe that no one has done these things? First off, the community has as P.G. Officer that sits on the property DAILY...he sees the teenage rif-raf and does nothing about it. If non-emergy IS contacted, they are simply going to dispatch the nearest unit...HELLO....the nearest unit is already on the property. This is a conditined mentality and treatment of tenants from this property. Sadly enough, one person's persistance isn't going to make any difference. Each person, including you, will have to complain collectively and take a serious stance directly with the management company, not the leasing office staff, and dealing with the management company is very tricky because Overland is just ONE of their many properties, and only something MAJOR is going to get them to pay special attention to Overland....something major like a rent strike...because at the end of the day, they can evict one or two people, but 10 or 12 they can't afford to do, but realistically speaking, who's really going to join alliances and stand strong by something that major at Overland?

from:ANONYMOUS,TODAY I RECEIVED A LETTER ON MY DOOR,READING......... U WILL BE EVICTED ON 5-30 2008, THIS LETTER WAS BIG AND TAPE ON ALL 4 CORNERS,WHERE EVERYONE WHO ENTER THE BUILDING CAN SEE IT, FRIST OF ALL I NOT BEENING EVICTED.WHEN I ASKED FOR THE NUMBER TO THE MAIN OFFICE,THEY WOULD NOT GAVE IT TO ME,THIS IS THE SECONED LETTER I GOT THIS MONTH,ON MY DOOR WHERE EVERYONE CAN SEE. THIS IS REALLY SAD.THE RENT HERE IS 1271.00 BUT SAME OF US PAYS 1291.00,SOME PAY A WATER BILL AND SOME DONT.THEY WONT ALLOW US TO HAVE A PARKING PASS FOR A VISTOR,NOT ONE...THE PEOPLE WHO WORKS IN THE OFFICE IS NASTY.I SMELL WEED ALL DAY AND NIGHT IN THIS BUILDING,THE --- UP STAIRS SELLS IT, AND THEY ARE AWARE OF THAT.THIS PLACE SUCKS FOR REAL........PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE.
