I don't live here (yet) but I have friends that do and I visit very frequently. I've spend many nights here and haven't heard any people outside, no weed smoke, no mice or roaches, nothing. It was pretty peacefuly. I've seen the police there patroling, but there wasn't any noise or anything. My friends and I have held many gatherings at their place and we don't blast the music, but we're there and up into late hours of the night. I've never felt unsafe walking to my car alone and it's always been clean when I'm there, which is very often. That's why I'm considering moving there. I can't validate any of the negative comments on here, but I can't debate them either, because it seems as though the older 2006-2007 comments were worse than the more recent ones. Maybe things were bad and have changed for the better. I wouldn't know. I just know that as much time as I spend in Overland, be it daytime, nighttime, whenever, I've never seen or heard anything that would turn me off from living here. And I'm coming from a beautiful high rise condo in VA. I guess in order to really know, you have to go see for yourself. Because truthfully, you can't blame mgmt for tryflin tenants. Your neighborhood is only as good as the tenants, so if they're nasty, then you will have a nasty complex. But I have yet to see any of that, so my suggestion is to see for yourself. Visit a few times, try to get aquainted with the people that live there, let them show you around. Because some of these complaints are probably legit, while others are almost certainly from the exact tryflin people that other complained about.
