I chose to lease from this complex due to it's location. It's close to 3 metro stations- Ft Totten, College Park, and Silver Spring. Only 4 lights away from Montgomery County and 5 minutes away from DC. It is also walking distance to several grocery stores, Mickey D's, TAco Bell, and other stores on University Blvd. I haven't seen any bug issues yet. Though I did do pest control before I moved my things in. (bug bomb and traps) Plus we keep the Kitchen sink clean, and empty the kitchen trash daily. My last place was infected with BED Bugs, sounds like the other reviewer had that same issue. My main concern was making sure that we did not have that kind of problem again. We threw out all of our mattresses and cushioned furniture plus laundered EVERYTHING (yes the tennis shoes too). The staff here always answers the phone and the hallways are always clean. The AC are window units, though. So if you want central AC, this is not the place for you. The rooms are small, but if you are just starting out it is worth the money. The lease is only monthly so if you want to leave you can at any time. The people are friendly, though most do not speak english as their first language. There are no visitor parking past 9pm sun through thursday. That is a small problem when my relatives come to visit, but there is street parking.
